Quality of Work Life as an Approach to Enhancing Employees’ Mental Health A Diagnostic Theoretical Study
Keywords:
Quality of Work Life, Mental Health.Abstract
This study aims to shed light on the importance of work-life quality in enhancing the mental health of employees within institutions. The quality of work life encompasses various dimensions, including physical and moral working conditions, wages and rewards, job security and stability, social support, professional development opportunities, participation in decision-making processes, and human relations within the work environment. These dimensions can contribute to employees’ feelings of satisfaction, security and belonging to the institution, thereby promoting mental health.
Therefore, the importance of quality of work life as an organisational approach emerges as a means of achieving mental health. Paying attention to quality of work life is a strategic approach that not only improves institutional performance, but also protects human resources and enhances their mental health. This achieves a balance between the institution’s objectives and its employees’ needs.
